He established Ascent Meditech Ltd. in 1991 with a vision to provide accessible, high-quality healthcare products. He introduced the Flamingo Heat Belt at a time when electric heat therapy was virtually unknown in India. Today, Flamingo serves over 30 million customers and offers a portfolio of more than 500 SKUs across diverse healthcare categories.Mr. Mistry led Ascent’s expansion by establishing a modern manufacturing facility in Valsad in 2018 and forming Ascent Sigmax Sportsmeds Pvt. Ltd. in 2021 through a joint venture with Japan’s Nippon Sigmax Co. Ltd. This venture introduced Zamst and GoChamps, offering world-class sports support solutions tailored for Indian athletes. He also launched Florican, a premium brand for international markets.
Beyond Ascent, Mr. Mistry serves as an Independent Director with DOMS Industries Pvt. Ltd. and Badshah Masala, and leads social initiatives through the Mansi Mistry Foundation.
